Fantastic segment that tells a lot about EJ that I never knew. I always knew that he was a great broadcaster, but this goes into his battle with cancer, his relationship with his father, and his relationship with his adopted son from Romania that suffers from muscular dystrophy.
Its an amazing story and I suggest everyone to take 25 minutes to watch it. Ernie is a much more than a fantastic broadcaster, he's a fantastic human being.

Ernie is the fricking man. And he makes the show. It's a lot harder than it looks juggling those obnoxious personalities. With a bad host, NBA on TNT would be unwatchable.

EJ is the definition of good people. Great guy, by all accounts.
Every year I'm just so impressed by how he manages the NBA on TNT shenanigans so smoothly.

Saw it a couple days. Was really good. Was really touching when his son was leading the family pray at the end.

I wanted to start this yesterday when it first started but I couldn't find a way that I felt would do him justice. He is such an incredible person, after seeing this it makes me hope that I can be even 3% of the Man that he is. Absolutely incredible gentleman

I was thinking that too. Hopefully just posting this here and sharing it is all that needs to be said.

Okay. I just finished. As someone who has done a lot of work at camps for people with very similar disabilities, I have so much respect for all of those parents. And Ernie took on that role when he could have been selfish. Children with needs like that make better human beings out of their parents. They just do. I've seen so many examples.
Ernie Johnson. I hope I get the opportunity to meet that man one day.

Never knew much about this guy. Was taken back by his selflessness and love of family. I can hardly find the superlatives to describe him because it feels like any attempt would be inadequate.

Looks like the video got taken down. I'm see if there's a different one somewhere
