Why don't you tell me how good Bosh was on a team full of average players his last season in Toronto?

And I'm not saying this is bad for the Rockets or that it can't work, everybody is just being defensive as shite. I'm saying that in order for it to work like the Rockets want (WCF and championships) then Howard's attitude will have to change in regards to how the offense is run.

Oh without a doubt he's going to need to STFU and let things play out. If he's about winning he will stop making "demands" of any sort and just bust his arse every night. There will be adjustments I'm sure, the Rockets weren't exactly invincible last year and there were likely changes coming anyways, especially with Parsons playing better and Harden establishing himself as he did. If you remember the Harden trade happened immediately before the season, so they didn't have an offseason to adjust to him, and no one knew if he would be the guy he was or not. Im sure they adjusted as the season went along, but now they have to the time to make a game plan knowing what Harden can do, and now with DH12 on board him as well. A summer of meshing and then adding D12.

Maybe more of his antics and desire to win from afar seems lacking to a great many people

Better?

Can't. Didn't watch Toronto's games that year.

I can tell you how good James Harden was last year with the youngest team in NBA history to make the playoffs.

Do you want to talk about that?

I'm talking about wanting to be the first option

even so, i dont see how that will keep them from succeeding in Houston

they'll actually need him to score more than he did in LAL, and more than likely will be much healthier than he was this past season.

I hate the guy, but he is talented and is a hard worker. And i think like any competitor, his instinct will take over and do what's best for the team he just hand picked

As a Lakers fan, it's tough to see everyone in the West getting younger and better. Hopefully they have a plan for after this upcoming year, because everyone is catching up and surpassing them. Jim Buss is worthless IMO...

Good job Rockets. Should be a solid foundation next year. Especially if you all get Josh Smith

1. He was right. He was the Lakers most efficient scorer.

2. If he were one of the greats and did the same thing, everyone would praise him for demanding the ball and showing what a great leader he is. All that's being done here is playing the result.

It's a big move for Houston and if he matures ( maybe not the best word) it will be huge for them

And again he's turned me off with the past two years of stuff but its still a great try on the rockets
