I'm just saying had that three bricked and SA secured the rebound, you know damn well how the narrative would have changed. Even as it stands now, people remember that game and series more for the Spurs choking it away rather than LeBron's heroics.
I agree. The narrative is always so lacking though. It's like people disregard the rest of the game, let alone the series.

Yea and a respected guy LIke Haralobob said he was placing some of the biggest bets of his betting career on games 5,6,7 of the LAC v HOU series. How'd that work out for him? Bet he thought he *knew* those guys too.

I'm sure what type of comparison you are making here. Lowe's piece was about Houston attempting to recruit another star player. Haralobob was gambling.

Say what you want, but all of the first year players in Houston have said they want to return already. They must hate playing with Harden and Howard.

I'm one of the guys who did. I also remember him having a big 4th quarter to the point where the Heat got the lead.

Except the Heat were down 5 with under 30 seconds to go in spite of all that.

Of course you would remember James' success in that game. You're a huge player-fan of his. That's not what I'm talking about. I'm saying the general tenor of the narrative regarding him and that series would inevitably have changed had SA not choked.

I mean, hell, I remember Timmy having a monster game 6 as well, and a ridiculous shot before Fisher's .4 miracle, but most non-Spur or non-Duncan fans won't recall that. We're the outliers, just like James fans would be with regard to game 6 of the '13 Finals.

People are lazy. The simpler narrative will always gain the most traction, either for or against our favorite teams/players.

Oh that Zach Lowe and his typical tabloid journalism. Always fishing for clicks.

I noticed you declined to debate Dwight v. Timmy.

Never liked Duncan but I can respect what he does on the court when he's not whining to the refs. I'll say if I gotta walk through a dark alley somewheres in port a prince haiti and I know I'll have to fight my way out to the other side I'd rather have Dwight than Duncan 7 days a week.

You post the most un-relevant things in regards to ongoing conversations i've ever seen. No one thinks Howard is a physically soft human being. He is mentally a weak minded individual.

Duncan doesn't whine any more than the average NBA player

OH I thought we were still calling Howard a pussy. I was just saying that I think Duncan is more of one if it came down to it.

Duncan whines more with those big eyes than any player I've ever seen.

Dude has never been called for a foul that he agreed with. I think I saw him make the eyes during Hack-a-Jordan.
