Massey Composite has them at #14 as of the end of yesterday, and with a win tonight, they'll probably be #10. A 2-seed means that the committee esteems them 2 spots higher than Massey, so I don't think that's crazy or anything.
BTW I think that bitching about your seed in a 68-team tournament is ubergay. It's just a number next to your school's name for two weeks. It doesn't give you extra points. UK fans are way more interested in Duke than they should be.

I thought for sure they were locked into a 3 or 4. But the case can be made. If they win tonight, that would be 13 wins against the RPI top 50. More than anyone else. They're playing better at the right time, I mean they've got a better argument than UNC I feel. Hell UNC doesn't have a win worth a shite outside the Dean Dome.

wins vs unc(2X), louisville, fla state, florida, at vriginia and at notre dame in the toughest conference in cbb.
If they win the ACC tourney they will be a 2 and deservedly so. 3-4 without K and 23-4 with him will be a factor for the committee

I wish Duke would be a #3 seed.
They have 35 years of history of not being able to win a Natty without being a #1 or #2 seed.
Even #2 is pretty bad - they have a terrible history at #2. Under Coach K, Duke has won 1 National Championship as a #2 seed.
But even better would be a #3...Duke has never won the National Championship as a #3 seed.

Didn't realize UNC cut the Nets down tonight. Also, they didn't win a road game worth a shite the entire season in the ACC. The unbalanced schedule sucks in the conference and UNC had a very easy schedule

I don't see how UNC is supposedly a lock for a one seed and Duke is a two seed at best. Duke's resume is stronger all the way across the board IMO.

Duke sucks, they can't play physical bball, if the refs weren't there to bail them of a 100 ticky tacky fouls a game they'd never win. Baylor, ks, zags, az, or, all have dominate biggies, duke has a bunch of limp worsted shooters, I hope the get thrown in the West as a 2 seed and get their are kicked.
