If Brees is still elite, then wtf is going on with the saints? They are one of the worst teams in the league right now.

so... Brees is responsible for the Saints D being god awful this year?

people who are blaming Brees are the same ones who always blame Romo for the cowboys being average when he has had no defense or O-line and mentally handicap head coach for years

It's mind boggling. I've never seen a team go from almost unbeatable at home to complete shite on the road.

Last year, yes. This year, this team is just not very good. They were mediocre at home last year against a bad Minnesota team.

for the record im not blaming Brees for the saints woes, although I think his play should be discussed.

Am I do think Brees can still be a winning QB I just don't think he is the gun slinging drop back 60 times and win anymore.

are you familiar with that entire part of the game called defense?

This team's problems aren't entirely with the defense.

Maybe it was or is just my perception, but over the last two or three years Brees passes have been batted away, down or whatever by the defensive front a lot more.

So are you Drew Brees's uncle or cousin?

Was expecting his road numbers to be worse really, considering that takes in his whole career. A 90 rating considering he started his career what 14 years ago, not exactly terrible.

I think the road problems go further than Brees.

(Just for the record, I'm not a Saints fan).

It's not that he sucks on the road, it's the drop-off that was being addressed.
His road stats are good

Drew needs to go see a sports psychologist. I'm not exaggerating. He obviously has all the skills and tools to be the best in his profession so his inability to perform on the road is 100% mental.

How exact was yesterday Drew's fault? I mean seriously, how?

Well the interception was bad, but we didn't have a chance anyways.

Dallas started the game with an 8+ minute drive.

We move the ball well, 3rd and short and run a spread pitch play with Cadet for some reason (PT should get that snap and it should be up the middle). 4th and short on Dallas' side of the field - Punt. With this defense, punting is useless in that situation.

Dallas scores again, then we throw a pick to make it worse.
