Does the NFL Draft become a bid job like the Superbowl?

Where you have to bid to host the draft? I mean Roger just said 250k from last year which is absurd.

It's absurd at how much of a spectacle it's become.

I'd prefer they give the draft site to whichever city won the previous Super Bowl.

Course I would also prefer Super Bowl host sites be at whomever is the defending champ's city.

As soon as the LA stadium is built, and NFL offices are moved there, it'll be in LA permanently.
