Does the # of reviews that commentators are surprised by seem high?

Especially this year, it seems the commentators will review clips of a close call at the same time the official review is ongoing, then show convincing evidence of a specific result only to have the officials decide opposite of that assesment.

So glaringly so that they often will describe how surprised they are by the official review.

The conferences will do whatever it takes to get a team into the playoffs the officiating this year has been complete shite

Some of these rulings seem like they are blatently ignoring the video evidence to protect the refs.

The fix is in on football at both levels.

It's a garbage product. Just terrible.

Especially the targeting calls. The one in the TT-OSU game was probably the worst one yet.

I'm done with this unlimited review garbage. Give the coaches two shots at reviews and let it be done. The pace of games is getting atrocious in both NCAA and NFL when you add in penalties and commercials. I came into this season fired up to watch some football, but I'm already burned out on watching 4 hour games.

What's so annoying is that the viewers know exactly what happened on most plays. But then you have to sit there while the slapdick ref runs over to the side line and puts on a headset to listen to somebody tell him the wrong thing about what happened. That process is fricking retarded.

Although I agree that the length and pace of games has gotten to be too much, I don't like the idea of a set number of challenges unless they get awarded another challenge every time a call is overturned (somewhat different than NFL's policy).
