His sudden and mysterious absence from the Warriors bench, which came to light at shootaround on Saturday morning, didn’t come with much explanation. Vague descriptions like “illness” and “not feeling well,” are usually a sign something is wrong. In this case, according to sources, it is.

At the worst of this current illness, Kerr was in excruciating pain, according to the sources, and he could barely walk. It was scary because it wasn’t a feeling he’s had before.

The worst part, the Warriors don’t yet know what is going. They had to say “illness” because there are no answers yet.

Yep, which is why I think this may be it for him. Two years in a row where he has missed games because of it.

I have had back issues since 2006 enhanced by my Infantry years and law enforcement career. Having back issues are a constant state of leveled pain. It seems Kerr had back surgery and something happened where spinal fluid started leaking. Now I'm dumb enough to have been a Marine grunt and a cop but even I know that just doesn't sound like something that goes away right?

Bad back since i was 13. There are no real good days just bad days and worse days. Cannabis oil has helped me some.

It all stems from having to carry Michael Jordan on his back in 1997.

I hear ol' Alvin might be available to come back and coach 'em up.

I'll personally go to Oakland and take a hammer to Kerr's spine if it means GSW hires Alvin.

He's had serious migraine problems, serious back problems, etc. It could all be coming to a head unfortunately. I think he's a great coach and personality. I hope he gets through it.

Everyone wants surgery for their back pain or "ruptured disc," even though there's very little evidence that it actually works. Spine surgeons, of course, are more than happy to accommodate. But there are also risks to any surgery.

Trump derangement syndrome can only be cured by taking the red pill.

SJW Steve only takes the blue pill - I hope he gets the help he needs
