Does hate for Notre Dame = hate for Tebow?

do people only hate them cause the media shoves them down your throat?
I suppose the media shoves USC down people's throat but I've always thought of their fans as obnoxious and pretentious making people root against them.
Since ND has been irrelevant for so long it's hard for me to say the same about their fan base

it's always a pleasure to see them beat.......
there is a bit of history with LSU, going back to them screwing us out of the Cotton Bowl back in the late 60's
