On November 14, Dodger Stadium will host its first-ever cricket match - as part of the inaugural Cricket All-Stars Series. Cricket icons Sachin Tendulkar and Shane Warne headline a stellar lineup of renowned cricket players from around the world.

The historic tour marks the first time these super stars have played in the U.S. Sachin and Shane will each captain a hand-picked team featuring some the best cricketers to ever play the game including Wasim Akram (Pakistan), Brian Lara (West Indies), Muttiah Muralitharan (Sri Lanka), Jonty Rhodes (South Africa) and Michael Vaughn (England), among others.

The format will be T20, a much shorter and boisterous form of cricket with the games taking around three hours instead of multiple days.

Be a part of history and watch some of the greatest cricket athletes of all time. Tickets go on sale to the public on Thursday, October 8 at 10am PT.

These guys are 20 years past their prime, not quite sure what is the point. I would understand an international friendly or something like with rugby, but obviously not a US team. Like India Australia

It's actually pretty exciting to watch. Especially T20.

From what I understand, here are the main differences between cricket and baseball:

- The same batter keeps batting until they get him out.
- There is only one inning
- The inning ends when the entire side is retired
- Points are based on total bases instead of runs
- There are only two bases instead of four
- There is no foul territory

I assume someone will correct me if there are any mistakes.

I wish I'd learned about cricket as a kid. Very interesting sport...hard to really get into it when you're in your 30's. Very cool.
