One week. I hate all the hype. I also wish the conference championship games and Super Bowl were on a Saturday. That way people could party and not have to worry about working the next day.

the NFL gives zero fricks about you getting shitfaced

the NFL cares about the highest possible TV ratings, and those come on Sunday

I'd submit that they'd probably receive better second half ratings. Most Super Bowl parties I go to usually clear out towards the end of the third quarter. Its such an established event, would there really be less people watching on Saturday than on Sunday? I know Saturday is traditionally not a TV night because people have other things going on, but the Super Bowl would beat the "other things." ESPN made the decision to have the playoff next year on NYE. That's a night similar to a Saturday night where most people have plans that don't involve sitting in front of the TV. Bristol must believe that fans will still tune in.

Its never going to happen, but I wonder if the ratings would really be lower.

I prefer one week because it allows a top-seed to fully utilize their earned advantage of the bye week. If a 3-6 seed were playing, it is logical they would see more benefit having played the last 10-14 weeks possibly.

I agree. I also think it stinks that the game doesn't get over until after young kids bedtime and they have school the next day.

2. There's so much going on in Arizona it's great when the super Bowl is here. Barrett Jackson, Waste Management Open, Super Bowl, Fiesta Bowl, snowing up north.
