I plan to run my first full marathon in November. Any suggestions on a good place to run a half marathon anytime from May-July?

Well since I tore all of the damn ligaments in my ankle a month ago I am not running anywhere, just walking makes me feel like I could puke.

This white people trend of running marathons and half marathons all over the US is more annoying than the brunch trend IMO.

You don't notice the explosion of white 20 and 30 somethings running the SF, Boston, NY, Brooklyn, Chicago, etc. etc. half marathon and posting it all over Facebook?

3 years ago it was Tough Mudder and now it's half marathons.

I think he's saying people that travel to other states to run marathons.

But I'm not sure.

No. I'm a grown man. I don't play on Facebook.

Running Boston in April. Got accepted for New York in November just a couple hours ago.

You probably won't find a whole lot of bigger races in the May-July time frame beacuse of the weather. The main road racing season is basically October-April outside of places with weird weather like San Francisco and far northern cities.

I totally get that, it was just an odd link to post because there was nothing the OP could gain from it.

Yeah, the half in Columbus is a lot of fun. I ran the first one they put on and it's great for a novice. Flat course and very well organized. You run through downtown, German village and the arena district and finish at LC pavilion (at least it used to).

About 15k people run all over the downtown streets in the Columbus, Ohio one in May.

I wouldn't call Columbus a far northern city.
