With the league down to 5 teams (two of which are 2017 expansion teams) I think it's safe to say this league is going to be dead soon. It's crazy to think that 5-10 years ago they had games on espn.

It wasn't really on my radar. But the concept is great.

Maybe the NFL should buy them out and make it a supplemental product. Give football fans something for the off season and have an alternate path to the main league.

Now you have a league called the IFL in the western half of the country with several former AFL teams threatening to overtake it... won't care until someone puts a team in NOLA though

Throwing the ball into the net and players being able to catch the rebound was an awesome twist

Btw how do you have a 5 team league? I don't even see how that would work?

The original AFL actually is defunct. What's parading around as the Arena League now is the remnants of AF2....the arena "minor" league. I enjoyed it in its heyday. Loved watching the original Voodoo games on TV.

How about the clock stops on a negative play under 2:00 in a half. And those rebound nets were pretty cool

We became ticket holders the final two years and I loved it. My little girl got so excited going to the games. We became friends with some of the voodoo dolls and I loved the idea of going on the field after the game to run around and get autographs. Was really a fun family event.

Anyone remember Mike and Mike doing the games? Bon Jovi and Jaws owners. Elway as an executive of the Colorado franchise? That was the peak of their popularity. Really enjoyable product...then the recession hit

I'd like a 30 for 30 for that era of the league

Been to many Orlando Predators games in the Orena. Granddad had season tickets throughout the 90s. I used to love going to those games.
