All the times they have talked about on Espn they never say regular season..

The NFL considers postseason stats to be separate from the regular season, so that's probably why it's not mentioned. They're not counting our playoff win last year either.

Yes... that's how win streaks work.
I don't know, I guess it depends on the particular personality but I've heard them explicitly state the regular season caveat on multiple channels that cover the NFL.

Sort of like Brees' TD streak. It continued yet he didn't play. I always thought it should've ended vs Carolina in 09.
