Whoa. The #Panthers just cut starting CB Bene' Benwikere, source said. Rough day vs. Julio, but had INT in opener, had played some good ball
That secondary is a mess, if true.

I thought any CB can put up Josh Norman numbers with that defense? Or so I was told by the experts on here.

Yes, but I had never heard of the guy and didn't see it anywhere else until now.

ETA: "The guy" being Tom Pelissero.

Saints should definitely put in a waiver claim. Guy was pretty decent for two years and the first 3 weeks.

Julio murdered him. It happens.

Sometimes the guy you line up against is just that much better than you. Doesn't make you a shite player.

That's funny, I was told josh Normans success was ENTIRELY due to Carolinas system. That any NFL CB could do what he did. Surely this is a typo

Ron's explanation is that they want to give the younger guys a chance.

Apparently 25 is too old

Where else are you going to post this? You're running out of boards.

That's the position where you need the most self-confidence and the most amnesia. If you lose them, you're DOA.

I remember with the Saints that Robert Massey was a good young CB with tons of potential. And then Flipper Anderson broke him on national television and he never fully recovered.
