None of those players did shite without MJ. Kobe simply cannot elevate a team.

First, you act like Kobe hasn't won 5 rings and been to the Finals 7 times already.

Second, Pippen went on to play more playoff games and be in more conference championships than Jordan, never playing in a losing season.

Jordan played without Pippen in 5 different seasons...losing season every time.

You lose.

This Denver team is made up of a lot of guys that a lot of teams basically didn't want. Damn George Karl can coach.

Truth. Karl gets a bad rap from his Seattle days. He had some uber talented teams that underperformed.

Yup the dude with 5 rings cannot elevate a team.

You are either a pathetic troll, or really really fricking stupid.

I have no idea why the Knicks cut Corey last year after acquiring him for basically a bag of beans. He's exactly the type of player that could have helped them - plays tenacious defense which they need, athletic and long, and runs in transition.

the only player out of all of these listed that played with jordan his entire career.

don't forget kobe had shaq, fisher, glenn rice, harper, horry, fox, horace grant, and a ton of other role players such as shaw, rider, george, hunter, richmond, and walker at different times and different years.

I wanted Kobe to be the next MJ more than anyone. I grew up watching MJ and Kobe comes close but MJ would absolutely school him. Sorry but he is just a notch below and nobody is even flirting with MJ in his prime.

I'm the biggest MJ fan you will find, but he also had quite a few supporting players, a couple of which are in that same list you just rattled off for Kobe.

One player cannot elevate a team full of scrubs. They still need good players surrounding them. The team surrounding kobe in this game gave up when Denver opened the game with a can of whoopass....

jesus and it just gets worse with that alley oop

Oh...well now you've sold me.

They did go head to head for a bit when Kobe was 18 and Jordan was in his last MVP season. Kobe lit him up a good bit back then. Where do you think all the Jordan comparisons started?

Man he had a team with Kemp, Shremph, and The Glove that was by far the most talented team in the NBA and they bombed.

GK is the Dale Brown of.the NBA.
