Looked really, really bad. Glad to see it's not serious.

Many times, when there is a lot of pain it's just a hyper-extension or less severe injury.

If it's a complete tear, it doesn't hurt nearly as much. I said this last night in the game thread, I'm glad I was right.

if we want a chance to win one in Cleveland

The NBA proved last night with how bad the officiating was that we will not win one in cleveland.

We will win tomorrow night and game 5 at home. LeBron will then get to celebrate with all of those fans that were burning his jersey 5 years ago on his home floor and talk about how glad he is to be home. The NBA and the 4 letter network will cream in their pants.

Are they calling his injury a knee sprain?

What a joke. Lemme guess you were a huge Heat fan too.

LeBron is a whines like a girl every time he gets touched yet he was shoving Millsap all 4th quarter to get his shot off. Its obvious the NBA doesnt want us in the finals. Two small market teams would be terrible in their eyes.

Seems like that's how it works. Looks really bad....no structural damage. Doesn't look that bad....torn everything.

You have the biggest bitch in NBA history on your team.

That was the worst officiating I have seen in my life.

The no call on Teague in the lane.
The no call on Hortford when he was hammered.
Touch LeBron. Everything stops.
LeBron is out of control and charges into Antic. The ref in position to make the call doesnt. So the guy from across the floor comes screaming over 10 seconds later to call a block. Its a joke.

LeBron has star power for ratings. The Hawks have a team, play the game the way I hope my sons plays the game. If my son whines as much as LeBron when he gets fouled I will buy him a set of golf clubs.

LeBron doesnt deserve to be mentioned with MJ and the media really needs to stop doing it.

Don't forget the 3 moving screens, push off called on Korvers jump shot, and the backcourt that the refs didn't call.

The Backcourt was laughably obvious. But the Cavs fans on here will tell us thats grown man bball or some other BS. When really its just the NBA trying to get LeBron in the finals. I have never seen anything like that in my life.

Links?

It was clear that Antic wasn't set and was moving into LeBron by any objective person watching that game last night.

When you get beat that handily, you can't blame the refs (even when they called moving screens on both teams, and made tough calls on both).

Just more bellyaching from a bitch fair-weather fanbase.

Millsap hand checks LeBron twice and a foul is called. Hand checks.

That was a weak call. As were the two Mosgov fouls on Korver on his 3 and Teague on the baseline drive.

I don't know the rules in the NBA well enough, but you may have a point here.

They didn't effect the outcome of the game.

Keep bitching though.

That's why you need a star to win a championship.

Sheesh, chill out and take your L like a man.

A fair weather fan base? I have been a Hawks fan since Mookie was the PG. I remember Kevin Willis, Antonio Lang, the Nique trade, Steve Smith, drafting Dan Dickeau. I was a fan then and I am a fan now.

Cleveland calling us fair weather is the definition of pot calling the kettle black. Most of the population of ATL is not FROM here, people move here to work unlike Clevelannd. But those of us that are, are the definition of die hard fans. So take that those comments and shove em directly up your arse.

Just looked up the backcourt rule:
This is Rule 10, Section X, part b.

quote:

b. During a jump ball, a try for a goal, or a situation in which a player taps the ball away from a congested area, as during rebounding, in an attempt to get the ball out where player control may be secured, the ball is not in control of either team. Hence, the restriction on first touching does not apply.

So to me as I read that, that's a legal play since neither team is deemed in control after the ball hits the rim.
