Talking on AP son's death, Bean and Hasselbeck had their sons die too. Didn't realize that. Again, I can't imagine. Makes the loss and sports feel so insignificant.

Missed it because my dumb bitch wife is watching real housewives reunion.

However, I look at my 21 month old daughter and can't imagine going through something like that.
Truly the worst thing imaginable as a parent

correct, Dilfer has thanked him publicly several times for helping him get his life back on track. He was drinking heavily to help him cope.

hasselback

quote:

"(Hasselbeck was) walking me through the most difficult time of my life. I mean I was a mess," said Dilfer. "I'll be very transparent. I mean I was 265 pounds and drinking myself to sleep. I'm depressed, my wife's going, 'What's going on?' And it's that guy, Matthew Hasselbeck, that says, 'This is over. I love you too much to let you do this to yourself. You need to come back up to Seattle.' And I credit Matthew Hasselbeck for the type of father I am, the type of husband I am, because he really saved my life in 2003.

Was coming to post this. I know it hurt Dilfer real bad. Glad he's doing well in life helping kids at the ELite 11 camps and such.
