That link from Deadspin he just posted shows a shitload of inconsistencies in Teo's 3 stories. Also based on PTI and ATH only Bomani Jones and Kornheiser still interested in getting to the bottom of the story, so CAA is clearly winning.

Yea, the "victim" angle seems to efface the extreme degree to which he lied or "tailored" to garner public sympathy.
In fact, most of these details become a lot less confusing if you assume:
A) he did get duped in the online encounters
B) Te'o didn't really give much of a shite about any of it until he started seeing the effect the story was having publicly.
At which point, he began to "tailor" profusely to the press.

Have any of the interviewers/media folks asked him how exactly he was duped during the whole hospital ordeal?
How can you hoax somebody into calling a hospital's main switchboard, then have it transferred to your private cell phone as a way to hoax somebody?
From a car wreck to cancer, it's not like she was in the same exact hospital room with the same personal hospital phone # all that time. She would've moved around and had multiple rooms & numbers. Not to mention multiple nurses answering the phone every time that he called, putting the phone up to her ear.

Probably he was duped by 1 or 2 fake calls that lasted about 5 minutes each and he simply made all the rest of the hospital calls up.
Would seem par for the course so far.

You can't bring cell phones into many hospitals and/or rooms.....it especially depends on the type of equipment around. Even if they were allowed in some of her hospitals/rooms, you almost always have shitty service.
