I am interested to see how the riddle of our postseason pitching staff goes if there aren't any more big injuries. I'm guessing they'll only carry 11 pitchers and we have the following options
Keuchel
Verlander
McCullers
Morton
McHugh
Peacock
Musgrove
Devenski
Harris
Giles
Clippard
Liriano
Gregerson
And then there's the guys who seem like longshots to make the postseason roster like Sipp Feliz Fiers Martes
I am pretty sure everyone above was either on the roster or DL on 9/1 so they're eligible but I may be wrong

God, what a kick in the dick that would be for him!
Overall, he's been Mike Fiers. But there was 1-1.5 months where we actually looked forward to his starts. Where he was the only pitcher able to reach 6 innings and less than 4 runs.
But could, very likely, get booted before playoffs. Ouch!

I don't see any way he makes it. Keuchel and Verlander are penciled in then you have McCullers/Morton/Peacock all as options. And Fiers doesn't have potential as a reliever that someone like Morton or Peacock might.

Should we do an over/under on the amount of times the broadcast booth shows or references the First Lady of Astros Baseball or should we just go ahead and take a shot every time they do??

shite I like fiers, but you might be right. He doesn't have reliever material. I was really hoping he and Morton could split the 4th spot. But doesn't seem too likely now.
