Fresh off an extra inning game winning HR from Hank Conger, the Astros travel back to Houston for a three game series vs the Oakland Athletics. Start time is 7:10 PM CST
Scott Feldman (Hou) vs Scott Kazmir (Oak)
Scott Feldman (0-1) is coming off a quality start against the Indians in which he threw 6 2/3 innings allowing only 1 run. He is riding a career best eight quality starts streak with a 1.87 ERA during that span.
Scott Kazmir (1-0) was dominant in his debut, going 7 innings and striking out 10 Texas Rangers. He only gave up one hit in that start and that lone hit was an infield single.
Early Vegas lines:
O/U 7.5
Oakland -125 favorite

Any of you guys been on the MMP tour? My brother in law and I were looking for something to do Saturday before the 6:10 game. We got tix to the Early Bird tour starting at 3. I think it's an hour and you get to watch 30 min. of BP near the field.

Hey I answered the only question you asked. The tours I've been on, they take you in a suite, to the press box, visit the Diamond club and seats behind home plate and then to the Astros dugout.

Gattis? It's hard to watch such a shitty swing. Let's hope he finds a groove.

So how about our buddy Ryan Voglesong? I'm glad he 'wasn't comfortable" with what was going on in Houston. Guy is garbage. Luhnow wins another one.

our buddy Ryan Voglesong
Baseball players are so fricking entitled by the system. It's madness that they are universally insulted by the concept that bad results from physicals could possibly lead to ^gasp^ lower salary offers.
And all the media twats who are biased against the Astros for the past tanking/analytics focus allow 'Team Aiken' and Vogelsong to get a pass for their bitching. Meanwhile, the front office is doing their jobs...jobs as in, they are running a big business and not a pleasure club.

What happened with Vogelsong?

Vogelsong was used in long-relief of Madison Bumgarner on Saturday, giving up five runs (four earned) on nine hits over 3.2 innings. He walked one and struck out two. (Sun Apr 12)
So far this season he has 1 start and 1 relief appearance and pitched 8.1 innings, 15 hits, 12 runs, 11 earned, and 11.88 ERA.
