Trout and Pujols both need to pull a hamstring or something and get put on the DL.

Those bastards are coming for us

Also please don't forget that Appel (AKA the future) went 6.2 scoreless innings last night.

I feel badly for Gordon -- I'll never cheer an injury to a player.

But I feel good that the Royals will be without his bat and glove for a few weeks. frick them.

Now if we could just get that video released of the Bruan, Pujols, ARod menage-a-trois that we all KNOW is floating around out there... that would be helpful. Anytime they get some negative publicity they slump big time.

I'm not one to cheer a guy getting hurt, either. Karma is a bitch, though.

The black hole bats benched.

Well, one black hole was simply replaced with a different black hole

By the end of next year, I hope to see the Phillips/Marisnick/Springer outfield with Tucker at 1B.

Yeah I most definitely consider Singleton a black hole

I will personally hit Tuck some grounders at first if it means getting Carter and Jon out of first base

I firmly believe that tucker could practice playing first in EST for the four days of the All-Star Break and be ready to play there at least as a well as Singleton can to start the Texas series.

I agree. Not playing him at first has been a baffling situation considering the lack of production from that spot, and lack of anyone in the organization ready to step in this year

How long did he play it at UF? Was it just a little bit or was he a full time 1B? It shouldn't be that hard to move him back there, it's not like Carter and Singleton are outstanding defensively anyways

He was a high-school first baseman who played 109 games there in his first three college seasons.
