Bucholz was good today and he got some favorable calls from the ump. We started straily and bad mchugh...we are lucky to win 1 of 2.

And seriously look at our lineup. It's bad

Well, I'm here this weekend and next weekend, but the Astros aren't. Probably in August before school starts up again

home plate ump claims he called time before Buchholz threw to first. Replay shows he didn't.

What does being on the rubber have to do with it? So if the pitcher isn't on the rubber he can throw it into centerfield and the runner can't go anywhere? This makes no sense.

Moral victory there, at least we didn't get shut out on 105 pitches.

Clay Buchholz looks like he lives in a trailer out in the woods of southeast Oklahoma and cooks meth

Just kept thinking the entire game this guy looks sickly and near death.

At least we ruined his shut out. Damn sure didn't deserve that with all the help he got.

That's the right move....have to roll with that until we make some trades.

was waiting for the strikezone maps to come out

These maps show all the balls or strikes as called by Chris Guccione today.

Green represents balls, Red represents strikes. Squares are pitches thrown by Clay Buchholz and Triangles are pitches thrown by Astros pitchers.

Nothing surprising...Buchholz got gifted a shite ton of strikes. But Guccione was overall horrible. Notice the 4 green pitches (2 BOS, 2 HOU) that were well within the zone but called balls.
