5 wins in a row, figuring out how to win in all kinds of interesting/exciting/frustrating ways. Encouraging trends from last night include everyone in the lineup getting a hit, Carlos Correa being the GOAT, and 3/7 of our bullpen not sucking. Disturbing trends include our stars continuing to get hit by pitches and 4/7 of our bullpen sucking.
Today we send Jabroni out to the mound. After 2 consecutive 8 inning starts, he looks like the Jabroni we loved from last year. I honestly think he is the key to our rotation's long term success this year. With LMJ and VV's potential innings limits later this season, we need Good Jabroni out there every 5th day.
Sox have Clay Buchholz pitching today. He has also been pretty good lately, but obviously is no match for #CrushCity

I have 2 suggestions/requests and can we see if it's possible to fulfill them?
1. I didn't think something can be overused and driven in to the ground in 2 days time, but the whole crown thing.......Wow.
2. Cheer up in the game threads you sour sumbitches. Or at least back off on the every inning meltdowns. We are about to have to start calling these threads the DRATs. Daily Rant Astro Thread. Terrible, and you should all feel bad about that. Never thought I'd have to get into it with superfan Jwho, but he went Ryno last night.
With that said, I have to listen on the radio today. Or follow on gamecast, for I am at work today and tmrw.
Good teams do what they did last night. Presevered and got through a shitty day by the bullpen. (frick you, Fields)
Unfortunately, did we blow our 1st game nut and they may very well not score today
I'm pretty sure we are watching 2014 Redhawks baseball in 2015 with Houston. I remember looking at standings and leaders and numbers all the time and what all these kids are doing now is what they were doing in the minors. It's fun to see. All the while, Houston is the youngest offensive team in baseball. Still 2-3 years until half this team reaches their prime.

Your two suggestions are spot on btw. I hate that once one thing gets said and someone likes it its used another 30-40 times in just one thread. shite gets tired so quick.
And the negativity is bad I've noticed this since May or so that's why I tend to stay out of the threads. Seems like no one can just accept a bad night or two. I know I can get negative too but there are far worse.

I just read through some of yesterday's thread. I love how nobody wants fields anymore, yet a few weeks ago when Gregs was sucking they wanted him to be the new closer. That's the DAT for you.
