Yea little more break on his slider. That 88-87 mph cutter looks like it can be a pretty good pitch for him and then mix the bigger breaking slider same arm slot 5-6 mph less is tough.

Hey there you go Marisnick

Even though it's the right call in a one run game, I hate bunting Altuve.

Yeah I went back and looked at that last pitch and it was def more of a slider as far as movement on a downward plane. It was pretty nasty

And with all the whacking off about Fowler, people are missing how the Astros have an emerging third baseman now.

Indeed. Fowler's problem has never been producing at the plate, it's been staying healthy and being a horrible defender. I like what I've seen from Valbuena and I like the fact that Marisnick is getting every day ABs.

Singleton needs to develop to take over first. Tucker or Big Shot Bob need to emerge in LF by year's end. If the farm truly lives up to its reputation, this lineup will be stout.

I agree, especially on the Tucker part. I don't have a ton of confidence in singleton just from watching him but I hope he develops and proves me wrong. If not they should be able to find a serviceable everyday 1B, maybe AJ Reed.

Wojo is going to give up a home run or two before all is said and done. He's leaving some flat pitches square over the plate.

Yep. He did the same thing vs Cleveland from what I saw. He's going to get hammered at this level doing that, when he keeps 2 seam down he looks really good too

Wojo is simply not an MLB starter. This experiment would end tonight if Obie or Peacock were ready.
