Pretty sure Carter didn't touch a ball in his two ABs. It's time for Marwin to become the everyday 1B until they bring Singleton back up.

I'm not really expecting Appel to make it up this year but I guess I'm ready to be pleasantly surprised if he does

I honestly never been on the boat to bring Correa up this year. Always been solid on 2016. I'm beginning to rethink my stance.

I've been a Preston Tucker fanboy since Lancaster.

If you bring Correa up, you've gotta move Lowrie to DH.

There's no way you keep all of:

Correa
Valbuena
Lowrie
Carter
Singleton

That means Grossman/Villar to AAA

I only want Correa up if they're in position to contend in July/August. They could bring him up and have Lowrie possibly play some 1B or DH if Gattis and Carter are still sucking

At least Gattis is starting to hit the ball hard, Carter is just straight trash

This teams potential excites me. I don't think we're a playoff team even at our best but DK and McHugh seem to be legit and I like Feldman as a MOR guy with Fausto seeming to have something left in the tank.we could use Obie or maybe Appel coming in and pitching like competent back end starters. If the offense gets it together, were a solid team. It could make for some fun months, more like May of last season.

Problem is the offense is so hit or miss (literally) that when we struggle, I really think were among the worst teams in the league. It can get that bad. Still, with basically only Altuve hitting in the early going, were 7-6 and in 1st place. We haven't dug ourselves a huge hole like in recent years.

Jed can become the super utility infield guy. Lowrie can even start at first base or he basically plays for anyone on the starting infield who gets a day off. He can spell Valbuena at third versus tough lefties and pinch hit a lot.
