Well, I've been accused of being too negative by fellow Astros fans, to the point I've made the board unreadable. Lol. I was trying to find something positive to say after the pitching shitshow we just witnessed.

I've never been happier to miss a game. We're going to have clunkers from time to time. It happens to all teams and I'm not the slightest bit concerned. Time for a new winning streak.

Still having trouble believing we lost last night's game. Should have been an easy win and choked it away. Unbelievable. Gregerson and Fiers should not be depended on in the postseason

I think despite the good month of August, our bullpen is incredibly average, other than Giles, and as we saw last night he can be a head case if he doesn't have his A game. There's just not anybody who comes in where I'm not thinking they're just as likely to get lit up as they are to go 1-2-3...possibly Musgrove. He's done really well since the move to the pen. I just think we flat out have to outslug people. That's who we are. Not laying blame on the offense for last night, but 2nd and 3rd no outs and the meat of the order up against a guy with a career era of 9 and we get nothing. Correa with a horrible AB and Gurriel with the killer DP. With this bullpen, they just have to keep scoring. A big inning there puts it out of reach.

One area hinch has improved slightly this year imo is his sense of urgency with pitchers. He's been better about pulling them before they get into bigger trouble.

However, last night was not one of his best intuition games. He was too worried about setting up today's double header. By his own admission, he tried to stretch the game with a combination of pitchers that you'd never use if you valued any kind of win at this point in the season.
