It's the same old shite with kazmir. He gets no run support and can't match the other pitchers' dominance of our hitters. tgis is 6 starts and a row without a win now, right?

He had 2 great starts after we got him. Hasn't been worth a frick since then.

Since then, he's pitched 6 innings just twice in those 6 games. We've lost 5 of those 6 games. Including tonight's game he's got a 4.38 ERA in last 7 starts.

The Rangers smell the Astros blood in the water. They know all they have to do is beat a few crappy teams and then they get their shot at us and first place. The Astros are just trying to hold on. They know they’re terrible on the road. They know they can’t even beat crap teams and they know the Rangers are breathing down their necks. They’re feeling the pressure and going full 2014 Milwaukee Brewers.

But take comfort boys. At least when the collapse is complete, you’ll have 2 members of the 2014 Brewers who have been through a total collapse. Let them comfort you.

Had a chance to get to Gray in the 2nd inning and let him off the hook. He has really settled in now. I fear we have missed our chance.

Do you guys think that Conger is as bad a hitter as Carter? I think Carter is worse, but Conger is pretty close with him.

We just gave Sonny Gray the ERA lead over Keuchel.

when we can't afford to give up any more runs, I don't think I'm playing matchups and putting Tucker in this canyon of an outfield.

Why on earth are you referencing W-L with this shite arse run support he's gotten? Dude has been shaky for us recently, especially as the #2 man, but he has been far from a "worthless frick." If you are going to reference W-L, one high point would be going to toe to toe with a guy on one of the best stretches in modern pitching history and winning.

eta: I mean "not worth a frick"

Another game I'm turning off early. I've got no interest in watching a 5 straight lost against the AL's worst team. We've pissed on every opportunity to score against Gray. Tomorrow we can enjoy our last day in first place. That shite isn't gonna be there for long. Crunch time and we're losing series against the 4th and 5th place teams in our division.

We're not gonna win this division, but I think we hang on for the 2nd wild card though.

#2 pitchers should be able to pitch more than 4.1 innings and 6 innings against the 4th and 5th place teams in their division. In September. In a pennant race. Was this not why he was brought here

That 1 game lead isn't a lock yet. We're throwing BP in Seattle.

Yes he's had a couple of poor outings recently and you would like to see him go a little deeper in games, but he's a strikeout pitcher with not the best history of durability (although he has a weird history in general).

Do we need to him to be a little bit better in his next few starts than he has been recently? Sure. But yall are acting like he's been a complete clown, when that isn't the case. He got smoked on one pretty bad pitch tonight but he didn't seem to struggle with command as much as he has in recent starts.

I guess I'm a sunshine pumper for this team, but man yall are negative.
