Did you know the Astros have been mathematically eliminated 7 different times this season? Pretty crazy.

Today is Brownie's last day :(

Bregman will start today

Been on vacation, haven't watched a game in 2 weeks. Will probably follow at work, sucks this season ended up the way it has.

To say that we still have a chance (no matter how miniscule) with the starters that we've been running out there for the last month is truly remarkable.

Sad fact is if we hadn't outright blown two games recently that we had won we would be tied going into the last series. Sad.

Meh. A 7-17 April, disastrous Lone Star series, nothing out of Gomez, mostly nothing from Colby, losing Val, an ineffective/injured Keuchel, injury plagued season for McCullers, a bad starting rotation....

And we're within 3 games of last year's win total with 4 games to go.

With all the injuries and terrible performances we have had this season the fact we are where we are at is a win. To think we were at one point a few games out of first. If we didn't totally shite the bed against the Rangers this season would be a different story.

BTW at the game today and to call the crowd sparse is putting it nicely.

The best thing about the season ending is that Fister won't be putting on an Astros uniform again. Dude has been a nightmare in the 2nd half.

What a free fall from a solid first half. Granted, we all knew he was over performing and the collapse was coming
