After all those replies, not much to add
Except that after tonight, there's one less game with Reddick in the lineup
He deserves thanks for his '17 contributions, but amazing he has made it this far without an approach at the plate.

Springer isn't in the lineup tonight because he ran a lot yesterday and the statcast doohickey spit out that he might get hurt yesterday if he ran tonight. It makes sense when you don't think about it.

Dusty does realize that just because you take a guy out of the lineup doesn't mean his replacement has to bat in the same spot in the order, right? I can really do without Straw batting leadoff.

I’ve truly seen it all now. How does one get “on the road to possibly get hurt?”
Because he had to run the fricking bases yesterday? Hell one of them he got to trot.
I swear in today’s sports, it seems to be the norm to try and play as little as possible to attain your goals.
Rest days, load mgt, skipping bowls, opting out. Yes I’m triggered.
