Doesn't matter. It's always been a part of the game, and it always should be IMO. It's a psychological wrinkle that you can't take out, or you jeopardize the game. You gotta remember how unbelievably dumb of a sport baseball in general is.
In terms of accountability for umps, I'm not necessarily opposed (tying compensation/other incentives to accuracy).

I'm fine with that argument.

But that's nonsense.

Jesus Altuve that was horrible. I'm just ready for this shite show game to be over.

Keep doing what you're doing.

I don't know why you would say that's nonsense. Taking out the umpire takes away one of the most important elements of the culture of baseball, and therefore takes some of the fun out of it. You obviously want your umps to be accurate, but anyone that watches baseball because he thinks it's a rational sport is delusional.

The rare poor at bat for Correa. Swung at pretty much everything although he had no shot at doing anything with those pitches.

That's your theory, of course. Not gonna rip on it because you're a DATer.

I think Dyson threw some nasty sinking heaters at the knees actually. Gotta tip your cap to the pitcher (a rarity tonight).

One big happy family up in here. Except for the Prom/Ryno thing, of course.

I just wanna say, I enjoy watching Qualls pitch when we're not gonna win anyway.

Watched the end of their game yesterday. Dyson was closing in a 2-0 game because Tolleson was unavailable. He did his best to blow it. Gave up a run and loaded the bases with one out but got Pence to GIDP. Was hoping he'd be worn out and we could jump on him tonight.

Hah yeah, my second rant of the night. Knighting for the Root sports crew and the umpire crew.

Yeah, saw that as well. He got three grounders as wanted, and the last one found the SS to start the DP on a 2-0 pitch (because Pence is the original Altuve when it comes to plate discipline).

I actually like the Root crew. The retards are entertaining.
