First career start for Big Joe. This game could be over in two hours.
I thought we should have acquired Beltran simply for the veteran approach he brings and last night couldn't have made that more obvious as he was a big difference in the outcome. Same can be said for Lucroy's bat.
Good to see Bregman relaxed. Let's hope that continues.

Seasons over boys, time to pad stats for the rest of the year.
We pretty much needed to sweep the weekend for any shot at the division.
And we are now 4 games back in the wildcard, not looking good if we can't get the offense going.
I expect the same shittastic lineup as yesterday, so another loss to Daddy Texas is on deck

Here is hoping Sipp gets some action today so he can rebound from his tough outing yesterday. Just needs one good relief appearance to turn it around and get back on the right track

If he pitches well today, he's earned a permanent spot as far as I'm concerned. He's going against one of the better hitting teams in the majors

Joe's gonna get 1 run. 2 runs if we really hammer Yu. If this rag arm doesn't throw a shutout he needs to be demoted to AA. Gotta pitch within the lead you're given. And I mean who is this guy in his first start to demand 3, 4 or 5 runs?
