Let's sweep it. Might as well. Not like it will change the fact that the Rangers have owned the Astros, Astros still have a 2-9 record against them this season.

I was at the game last night. Really only saw the bats wake up for an inning, but I'll take it. Keuchel was dominant. He basically gave up 0 hits for 8 innings of baseball after the tough first.

The Rangers are primed for a good fisting.

I mean I would be content to winning this series, but I agree we got to sweep the Rangers and beat the crap out of them while doing it. That would turn our mini slump completely around, save our season, and show Texas and other teams that were not fricking around.

Gattis had 3 hits last night, can't sit him! -Hinch

DAT: he's a shite DH though

Tonight: proceeds to go 0-4 with 3ks and a groundball DP to SS

And Tucker in LF is stupid again. If you need Gattis in the lineup, he needs to catch.

Tucker at DH
Marwin in LF
Reed at 1B

Why does Hinch make things so difficult

I feel like we should have basically trotted out the same lineup as yesterday. Why change what worked for the first time in 7 games?

Harrell doesn't really strikeout anyone and he gets into trouble with walks. I'm not sure if Hinch put together a lineup capable of forcing Harrell's hand on that issue. I'd rather see White at DH than Gattis.

Gattis should basically never DH, yet he's almost always there

Gattis performing better as a catcher has nothing to do with the fact that he's catching. It's that he's platooning with Castro at catcher so he's facing a lot of LHP. At DH, he's facing RHP.

On the year he's hitting .202 vs RHP and .269 vs LHP. That's why DH Gattis sucks.
