I feel good about our chances of eventually running into one on Kershaw today. There's been some good contact made on him today.

We're getting no help from Detroit.

Thankfully Anaheim is helping Toronto get hot again right before they play Texas

Gomez is way too damn aggressive at the plate. Jeez you're slumping...sit back and work a count for once!

Way to run it out Gomez. I'm so unimpressed with him.

I'm not sure Gomez could hit a beach ball right now

Boy, Gomez looks terrible. I think Fiers was the best part of that trade by a long shot (so far).

Gomez is fricking terrible. Lets a curve sit right down in the top of the zone, then swings at 2 pitches barely above the ground.

dude constantly finds himself in 0-2 counts before you can blink.

Correa smashed that right at Rollins

He's in a bit of a slump now too, down to .273 BA

How many hits does Gomez have as an Astro?

Correa's pitch recognition is so far advanced to Gomez it's uncanny. Correa's facing Kershaw for the 2nd at bat. How many times has Gomez faced him having come from the national league? And he goes down in 3 pitches.

Attaboy Gomez. Swing as fricking hard as you can no matter the count. Make no adjustments. Keep him up in the two hole, though.

Happiest team in the world right now is the Mets. They dodged the Gomez bullet and ended up with Cespedes whos actually contributing.

McCullers is playing with fire. Allowed hits in all 5 innings so far.

That second one was on LMJ, it looks like. Castro on the 3rd one.

That breaking ball is some kind of nasty. LMJ is battling hard, just needs a little help. Meanwhile, Castro cant find it. At least he tried to play that one correctly. Bad luck for LMJ.
