Got some tough pitchers coming up. Taillon tonight and Cole in game 3.

Hopefully the offense stays hot.

Apparently we are interested in Mitch Moreland who cleared waivers LINK

He would be a short term upgrade but I'd rather see what Reed can do with an extended run of ABs then look at 1B this offseason. Seems unlikely we would be able to make a deal with Texas anyways

Taillon ER's in his last 4 games 2-1-0-3

It's time to start rocking some good pitchers.

I'm confused. If he cleared waivers why do we have to make a deal with the Rangers?

Bring Mr. Miyagi out of retirement to get Val back.

We can't lose with two baws in the lineup.

Meh. Why? He's a free agent at the end of the year. Is AJ Reed going to be the guy moving forward or not? Only one way to find out.

My CSB plug for the day: I got to face Taillon in the playoffs my sophomore year, right before he got drafted. The entire back section of the stands were filled with pro scouts. He introduced me to the 98-mph fastball, that'll put some hair on your chest I tell ya

Saw him play several times in HS. He was an incredible talent. Good guy as well, I'm glad he's succeeding at the highest level after the injuries he's had to work back from

One of my good friends from college was a good friend of his at the Woodlands and they also played on the team together. I met him a few years ago when I was still in school at Baylor and he came in town for a party. Cool guy, wasn't a douche or anything.

Pretty solid lineup. Glad they're playing Reed everyday, seems like he's responded fairly well over the last week or so.

ETA: Glad Marwin is sitting, he's been terrible recently.

Reed is the future. He will be a top 10 1B in MLB within the next 4 years.

The dude is a legit bat. Defensively, he needs to improve a lot. But his bat is going to make him a star.
