Some well hit balls against Kluber so far. Guy is good but we don't look clueless up there

You don't 'see what he's got' in the last 1/3 of the season though. If you're pushing for the postseason you need solid contributors.

VV outside fastballs: hitters have a chance to extend and make solid contact

VV inside fastballs: jam shots and foul balls

Singleton is an idiot lol Altuve should've waited a second to throw that

VV doesn't have tailing action on this heater so batters can extend and hit them away. He throws gas so he should be pounding guys inside. I've been saying this.

and of course the wind is blowing straight in. Well struck Tucker fly doesn't even make the warning track.

other than a slightly high pitch count, Kluber is mowing through us no problem.

We've had good at bats and a couple of wind-affected drives caught against Kluber. I am enjoying this Carter-free night.

The more he starts, the more swing and miss he's getting. I feel good about his chances to develop into a really good starter.

Somebody needs to punch Marwin in the throat for swinging at that 2-0 pitch.

Marwin, you're 2-0 and he walked the previous guy. Can't be popping balls up

I know, I'd be cool with pulling the trigger on Upton. If we're forcing Presley out there we are fq'd

We need to take pitches in the 6th and get Kluber either to walk guys or out of the game. It's too bad Jose has had shitty ABs tonight, but his take on the 1-1 still wasn't as bad as dipshit MarGo's 2-0 swinging.

Probably won't get many more chances than that. REally needed Jose to come through there
