I was going with the FFS rotation, Fiers, Feldman, Sipp.

Hinch went with Fister.

FFS is right. That's what scares me about this team should be end up in the playoffs...gotta think a move will be made at some point.

Starting Pitchers
1. Lance McCullers
2. Dallas Keuchel
3. Collin McHugh
4. Doug Fister
-Deal-Mike Fiers
Feldman wasn't listed on the espn depth chart.
4th starter?
Feliz or new guy

Relief Pitchers
1. Michael Feliz
2. Devo wasn't listed on the espn depth chart.
3. Ken Giles, looking as advertised lately
4. Luke Gregerson
Pat Neshek
-Deal-Tony Sipp

Closer- Will Harris

Is this about right?

I don't think we're gonna be able to deal Sipp with his contract. We are probably stuck with him unless we want to eat it. I would like to see

McCullers
Odorizzi/Pomeranz/new guy
Fister
Keuchel
McHugh

As our rotation. The bullpen is where it gets tricky

Feldman
Neshek
Devo
Gregerson
Feliz
Giles
New LHP or Hoyt
Harris

I don't know what do with Sipp but I don't think he really has a spot. I like having the flexibility with several long guys (Feliz/Devo/Feldman) considering how inconsistent our rotation can be. I also think Feldman is invaluable in case of injuries in the rotation. If someone wants him as a starter rental you deal him but I dunno if that will happen. We've been pretty lucky on the injury front so far this year but they will happen.

I don't think you can get shite for Sipp with how he's pitched this year and the deal we just signed him to but maybe I'm wrong. The other choice is to eat the money. We need someone who can get lefties out in situations though. I'm not sure what Hoyt's splits are but he could be that guy. There will be lefty relievers out there as well (last year's favorite Will Smith from our old friend the Brewers is one)

I think that our problem in the trade department is that no one wants what we're all talking about shopping.

Yeah I think Fiers has some value because he has team control left but he's not going to headline a deal. To get one of the SPs we want we are going to have to give up prospects we like. If we trade for a SP and keep all three of Martes Paulino and Musgrove I would be pretty surprised

Fiers ERA has been improving since April, but giving up an 0.815 OPS ouch.
He's looked shaky lately but i guess most 5th starters are, hopefully Hunch learned that lesson against the white sox.

If we are stuck with Sipp, I hope he can find a good luck charm, or jesus, or something.

Again, I hope they can convince Sipp to pull a Gomez in the minors to work things out. He's still throwing hard but his location is awful. It's just mechanics so it can be fixed.

Yeah if he can do a phantom DL stint with some rehab where he can figure things out that would be great

I put in between 50-100 votes for George last night. I'll be at it again tonight.

Joe Musgrove pitched last night.

5IP, 2ER, 0BB, 6K. They pulled him early because of the Futures game, only threw 65 pitches or so.

Also saw a report that Paulino was down in the Florida strengthening his arm after the suspension and he had some "arm fatigue"

Paulino is such an interesting case. I wonder if the organization sees him as VV 2.0. The guy has the talent to be a good or better MLB starter but his health issues are real.

If so, they may use him as the big trade chip this month to get another arm or bat.

I'd probably be ok with that since we still have Musgrove and Martes
