We all know that Urkel has been pitching well lately, and Gilbert has been good all season, including 3 quality starts against the Astros.

This has all the makings of a low scoring pitching duel, so I will predict a 9-6 Astros win.

Of course we'll be paying just as much attention to the trade rumors as the game.

Rosenthal says if the Astros move a SP, it will be for major-league talent now, not prospects. That revelation seems like a no-brainer. He focuses on Urquidy and what seem like his own hypotheticals. Rosenthal also says it’s possible the Astros could acquire a player like a Ryan Reynolds or Sean Murphy by trading a pitcher to a team out of contention and then that team flipping the pitcher to anothe club. He says the Astros may have to find that third team to make a deal like that work.

He also says “a number of teams are exploring trades for Siri.” He mentions Phillies, Marlins and Brewers among teams who need CF help.

Phillies also need SP help with Eflin hurt. Maybe a Siri/Stinky package for a few prospects to help rebuild the farm.

If the Phillies would go for it. If the Astros are also still in on Castillo, they may need a trade like that.

The Brewers are also a contending team that could use another SP. They only have 4 guys currently active that have started a game this season and Stinky is better than everyone but their top 3.

Who's Baltimore's CF. Came in late on radio conversation talking about this guy?

Mullins

The gist of the conversation was Urquidy or Garcia, Siri, and a top prospect for Mullins.

I guess those three are one of the packages from what I have heard.

It’s what Rosenthal posted this morning. Seems like total nonsense. Siri as some sort of asset in a deal like that is laughable

Siri is a bench OF... and there's almost zero chance the Orioles trade Mullins. That's more of a fantasy than getting Ohtani.

ETA: If you can really trade Luis, Siri, and a 6-12 ranked prospect for Mullins with 3 more years of control, you accept instantly.

Not sure the Diamondbacks would trade him... but he'd be a great CF answer.

Young center fielder, bats from the left side, great range and decent arm but not special. Just a really good all around player under cheap control for many years.

What Arizona has is very good OF prospects. What they lack is young pitching.
