Houston Astros (54-43) @ Kansas City Royals (57-37)
7:10 PM in Ewing M. Kauffman Stadium, Kansas City, Missouri
Newly acquired Scott Kazmir makes his first start as an Astro against Jeremy Guthrie.
Time to get revenge on these frickers for knocking George out.

You on fire young man. I would predict a sweep this weekend for Htown but you know....feldman.

Continued from yesterday's thread
I'm throwing my name in for the leader of the Tyler White band wagon and president of his fan club. I admit, I paid no attention to him until JL mentioned him in an interview not too long ago. I am ok with that though because it seems like the entire internet & Astros fan base ignores him since I can find, maybe, three articles on him when I search his name. It might just be the quietest (is that even a word?) coverage of a guy who has raked at every stop in the minors to a tune of .305/.415/.480 (MiLB career numbers), more walks than K's, never lower than a .400 OBP at any level since his first 28 games at Tri-City short A (.362 OBP there), AA homerun contest winner, plays a position of serious need, raking AAA at .397/.479/.603, outstanding moustache and overall nice guy.

Frick the Royals.
It's time for Thunderdome. Blood will be shed. Eyes shall be blackened. Headlocks and crainium punches shall ensue.
Let's win the game and the fight

He really doesn't even have to come in and rake. He just needs to get on base so that the spot in the lineup isn't a black hole.

these next 6 games are pretty massive. Been awhile since we had late July series like this

Yeah hitting a 240/310/400 slash line while not striking out 30% of the time would be fine

In his last 7 starts, McCullers has posted a 4.9 BB/9 rate. That's quite bad. (21 walks in 38.1 innings)

Yeah I mean he's still 21

And then Castro needs to finish the job with a crane kick to the face

Flew up to KC from Houston yesterday, will be at all the games this weekend

Damn, this move keeps looking better and better. Just the perfect type of move for down the stretch. Should start in about 6-7 divisional games on the rest of the year.
