The Phillies are a bit screwed because their best trading partner is the Dodgers. Amaro wants to throw money in a deal to try to get more prospects, but the Dodgers don't care. They'll pay Hamels' full salary to save their farm.

There's an effort to encourage better behavior and moderate the game threads a little stricter. Mostly in response to Saturday's thread when we played the Rangers. Granted, that thread got a bit angry mob with pitchforks with all the Odor shite.

I prefer Marisnick in the 9 spot -- he excelled earlier in that spot and feel on his arse when Hinch moved him up. With Altuve getting on base again, Marisnick will get more fastballs. Castro is clueless at hitting anything that isn't on a Tee.
Speaking of Castro... I'm ready to see Conger get more playing time.

What's wrong with wishing death on a player if he is asking for it? Respect the game and play it "the right way" like Craig biggio and Tony Larussa always did.
