Lulz. We have hoes up and santana in fresno. At least santana has some power.this makes no sense to me.

I agree. Pretty clear that Luhnow wants to keep Santana mashing down in Fresno to keep his trade value peaked. I wish Santana could be up here helping but it doesn't look like that is going to happen until after the deadline, and that's if he doesn't get traded.

We could have Santana, Tucker and Rasmus in the OF. Instead we have some combo of Hoes and Marisnick. I think the offense Santana could provide outweighs Marisnicks D. Plus he could be the 4th OF coming in as a late Inning replacement.

They are in on everyone. They will pursue the scenario that provides the most value. Not sure if it will be enough for a playoff run. But Luhnow is talking to everyone about every possible trade scenario.
If I were a betting man, I'd bet on Samardzija. I think a surprise or two will happen in regards to 1B or OF Bats.
