Your Houston Road Warriors are back! We begin a 9 game road trip to Baltimore, Philly and D-Troit. Ace is on the mound to set the tone for our winning ways.

Top of the morning DAT, perhaps we will get to witness a little of our future closer this weekend up close in a series.

I'm looking forward to the Ryno melt once Luhnow makes his moves.

Ryno has skillfully positioned himself to play both sides of the field...

One side, he gets to bitch and moan that the person (whoever it is) Luhnow trades for is inferior than who Ryno himself would have picked.

On the other side, he'll get to bitch and moan about how Luhnow gave up entirely too much of the farm for mediocre talent.

I don't believe we need starting pitching. I think we are set.

I do believe, however, we need a setup man or a closer.

What was great about that 2005 team and the way they finished was our Qualls-Wheeler-Lidge shutdown crew.

Also, I don't want to part with Derek Fisher. I believe he will be in an ASG soon and often.

Gotta give something to get something. Can't keep everyone. He's our one of our two top rated position players who convienently both play outfield. We have 2/3 starting outfield slots locked down for the next 3-4 years and our backup outfielder for the same amount of time.

Basically all that to say you have to choose fisher or Tucker to to give up. Fisher could play now tucker next year.

I'm just a fan who wants us to win it all. I like going after relief like Britton but if we do get Britton to close I think we still need a situational lefty. They may just decide that Harris and Devo are good enough against lefties they don't need it.

The sonny gray issue is tricky. If you could guarantee keuchel will be healthy and no other injuries to SP i would pass.

A rental like darvish would be optimal from a prospect standpoint but no way that deal ever gets made between rivals.

Trading Perez as a headliner might could maybe get you something like a Britton/Brach combo.

Strange that Martes has fallen behind Perez despite graduating to the majors and having some level of success as a 21 year old.

It's been up and down but through 28.1 innings, he's allowed 23 hits and he's got a 10.5 K/9 and not terrible 4.1 BB/9. 4.45 ERA.

His numbers in the majors are actually better than AAA as he approaches the same amount of innings.

Ive posted about it daily but was reading on crawfish boxes and thought it was worth to post here.

nah fam. I've been trying to tell you he's just a name. He's not that special, I fully expect him to be traded.

I know literally nothing about Perez outside of his name always being high up there in our prospect rankings. At least with Martes, I've seen him play and now he could be great if he ever finds some consistent control

Perez won't be 20 till December and is in AA.

He's good, although not a big K guy, only 8k/9 in A+ ball
