O/U 4 1/3 innings for VV tonight? This is a huge game for him, I would love to start seeing a little more control from him. Throw some strikes early to set up that change up

Eovaldi could go 7 innings and give up 1 or 2 for NY, or he could get absolutely bombed. He throws really hard, but doesn't necessarily give up a ton of homers. But still, the Stros hit a lot of homers, and if they run into some hard fastballs, they could go pretty far.

Could be a high-scoring affair at Minute Maid tonight. Glad I'll be there to see it.

VV is definitely under the gun if he wants to stay up. Feldman will be back probably by the end of the All-Star Break.

JdJO mentioned that Riley Ferrell will be in Houston today to sign. Him, Daz and Eshelman are the only top 10 picks left to sign, and I'd assume Daz will be the last one. Hopefully we can save enough cash to go after Sandoval

From what I've seen, they already have enough cash to sign Daz for $4 million and still offer Sandoval the 5% overage of $864,000.

I think Ferrell and Eshelman also provide some savings, so maybe Cole Sands is in play (either/or, I mean).

There are streaming sites but I am not familiar. If you don't have much tied up, switch your cable provider to DirectTv or U-Verse. They carry root sports, and you could dvr games you will miss, and just watch the others live.

No matter what happens, I'm very excited about all of our first 5 picks. Ferrell could contribute as early as this year, Eshelman next year. And then our top 3 picks are all quality talent. Signing any of those later round high school guys is just a bonus

Yankees got this today, AROD home run coming

Eovaldi hasn't pitched against the Astros in the past 3 year, in his only start (2011) he went 6 innings giving up 2 hits, 0 runs, 4 walks, and 2 strikeouts...

Over on VV. I am feeling it.

I am excited to see about Eshelman. If he has the command that some of the articles written about him mention, he will be a solid pitcher.

We need a W. Division is getting log-jammed, and I don't want to get passed by Baltimore.

But that will probably happen, because Baltimore is in the middle of the easiest fricking schedule ever. 3-4 or 4-3 on this road trip for the Yanks would be nice.

We should start the MLB thread.

Suddenlink here doesn't carry root. I get the fricking rangers on fsw. Will go to the office today and complain. Is there any radio stations in Houston I can stream.

790 AM is the flagship radio station in Houston but I don't know if they stream the games. Through the MLB app I think you can get radio streaming for all of baseball for something dirt cheap like $3 a month

Suddenlink is the only tv provider where you are ?

Bengal is right, mlb audio streaming is cheap.

Also, Sirius XM carries the home feed for all games and if you have XM's internet subscription they carry the away feed as well. That way you get the music channels too if that's something you're into.

Sirius is great. I love all the league-specific channels.

NBA - Especially the daily show Joel Meyers hosts.

NFL - All of it. Mostly great talk.

MLB - Most of it, although they sometimes simulcast MLB Network so you feel like you're missing something.

Getting all the home feeds from those leagues is excellent.
