I would probably prefer a pitcher but the pick where we can maximize our draft pool with the extra cards picks is best. We will most likely be taking some prospects out of the system for a starting pitcher so being able to backfill it with a few from this draft is big

I think Peterson would be a great pick at 15 if he's available. We need talented left handed arms like him.

With the way things have been going, I'd say this is a must win.

3 things to know about this game:

• Right fielder Nomar Mazara led the Rangers in batting average (.340), on-base percentage (.417) and slugging percentage (.532) in May with 10 doubles, a triple, two homers, 17 RBIs, 12 walks and 11 runs scored.

• Astros second baseman Jose Altuve led the Majors in road batting average entering Friday, batting .430/.520/.698 in his first 23 road games of the season.

• Entering the series, Rangers second baseman Rougned Odor was batting .319/.350/.664 (43-for-135) in his last 34 games vs. the Astros since July 17, 2015. His career .931 OPS vs. the Astros was the seventh-highest among active players.

Is there a damn rain delay or something? Turned to Fox expecting the game, and nothing...some stupid lifelock infomercial.

162 games in a season.

54 are guaranteed wins

54 are guaranteed losses

54 are toss-ups

I feel like tonight's game is in the toss-up category, but we win.

I've got the pregame show with generic AL East talk just moments ago.

What do you mean?

My Social Security Number has been on a billboard here in El Campo on the side of US 59 North for the last 18 months and I haven't had my identity stolen once, thanks to lifelock.

Weather is fine in Global Warming Stadium, btw.

Ugh. He's awful. Dude always sounds like he'd rather kill himself than be calling a ball game.
