Ditto. I fear another Luhnow trade for a veteran bat. Legit fear.

Haha. I was thinking the same thing. Even winning it feels like a loss. Because of the blown lead and inability to capitalize in the previous situation.

I think Elias would be a great gm. He does great with the draft every year, but jl trades them all away.

Substitute "Luhnow" for "Elias" and you're back in 2012 hiring a new Astros GM

We need to start a movement for Hunsicker. His work with the Rays was a miracle after he left here. Doubt he'd leave LA now

When does Paulino get to the point that he has nothing left to prove in Corpus? Post TX league ASG? He is dominating.

Ed: AJ Reed hit a homer

Not surprised.
I remember hearing on 790 that lunhow's goal was .500 by the all star break after April and looks like we will make that.

I don't think anyone on here loves the idea of a big trade but if we are to make one yall looking for a bat or arm? I know there's been some Braun talk

I've been hearing SD chatter lately, and it would be a bat.

Paulino threw 67 IP last season after not playing at all the year before (TJ surgery). They'll probably have a pretty hard IP cap on him this season. They may promote him at some point, but I can't see him throwing much more than, say, 120 IP this season. He is probably already close to halfway there. Wouldn't be surprised if they move him to the bullpen at some point in the 2nd half to limit his usage the rest of the way.
