Dallas had a pretty decent outing last time... that is until aj left him out to dry. Hopefully he continues

Win this one, split in St. Louis, then make up ground at home.

I think they have a good chance to be over .500 by the break.

Couple solid ABs from Val and White. Gotta capitalize.

I like that he is at 50 pitches through 2 innings. They need to be smart and keep making this guy work. Get to the pen.

Of course, that whole "need to be smart" thing is sometimes elusive for our team.

Marwin's hot streak got him to almost average as a MLB player vs replacement.

We didn't discuss this yesterday but it's a fun hypothetical.

What would you trade for Chris Archer?

This will be unpopular but I don't think he's the type of pitcher that would help our club.

He would just be the latest in a long line of SP's that are inconsistent

We need more of a consistent veteran presence

A good major league hitter could easily poke a single through that shift. Of course a good major league hitter could actually hit the ball.

Who would be a more consistent veteran presence that we could trade to get?

I don't know who would be available.

But I can already tell you the price tag on Archer would be too steep
