A mistake prone fielder who can't hit. What could go wrong?

HOU leads AL West by 7 games. Last team in any division with a lead that big on May 3 was the 116-win '01 Mariners, who had a 9-game lead.

I'm not going to lie. If the Astros come close to winning 116 games this year, I will become an insufferable prick on this website. Cardinals Fans, Cubs Fans, Braves fans. Especially Yankees Fans -- they will all hate me.

meh. probably not. I'm old, and really don't have it in me anymore.

maybe.

Thanks for the morning wood

I wish they'd just call him up and let Marwin continue being the super utility guy. He'll still get his AB's but Villar can't cut it. But what do you do if he rakes and Jed comes back in July?

I know today's thread was started but I was just discussing this with a coworker. This is a good problem- you could have two great utility guys in jed and Margo or it could open up some trade options to make a deal at the deadline for pitching. There will be other injuries also, and Lowrie's versatility is huge in that he can play several positions and his bat can probably play at 1B and DH if necessary short term
