One would hope. Still I wouldn't want him in with a lead of any amount and with this team even if a starter has a bad one and we are down 5 we have proven we can come back so I wouldn't trust him to give us 3 solid innings.

Fiers' days are numbered. If Musgrove can stick in the rotation, Fiers will be DFA when we trade for a starter.

We'll be able to trade Fiers for something. Lots of teams need cheap pitching, and he has been a successful starter before.

Fiers would be a decent 4/5 for a non contending team. If we hypothetically dfa him, several teams would claim him.

Just a reminder, the game is on FOX tonight, no ROOT broadcast

Hope it's not the same blackout restrictions as MLBN. Blacking out Astros games in SE Louisiana is senseless.

Just wanted to drop in and laugh at the Rangers. Lost again. That's 5 in a row. 9.5 back.
10 wins in a row!

Three things to know about this game
• The Astros are 4-for-48 (.083) with runners in scoring position in their past eight games (4-4 record).
• Houston won six of seven games against the Orioles last season, including all three games at Minute Maid Park.
• The Orioles had lost 10 of their last 13 games, entering Friday. In the stretch, Baltimore's starting pitchers were 0-5 with a combined 5.68 ERA.

You're blacked out when they're on MLBN? I'm on the Northshore and blacked out on the MLB TV stream, but not when they're on the TV network.

Unless my memory fails me, yes.

9.5 back
Need moar. We're not exactly in uncharted waters. We've been 9.5 games ahead of the Rangers in late May before. We were 9.5 up on May 20th in 2015. We know how that worked out for us.

Just looked at my DirecTv guide, and FOX 8 New Orleans is showing Cubs @Dodgers.

Yeah I'm getting the damn Cubs also. At least it's an interesting pitching matchup for the MSB.
