Giles best outing

That 1-2 pitch was PERFECT

Didn't get him to fish, but that's where it needs to be on 0-2, 1-2

Excellent shut down inning for Giles. THAT'S a type of win we need. Great 1 hit shut out for our pitchers and nice win overall. Peacock.

Had Miggy coming up next so putting them down in order was so huge.

I'm sure you guys already discussed it but they really need to work peacock into the back of that rotation. Work his pc up a little at a time and make musgrove a long reliever.

Can also give Fiers the boot once we trade for a legit #3

Sharpest I've seen Giles all year. And against 3 legit hitters. We sorely needed. Amazing team pitching and D tonight. Abysmal hitting. Again.

Tolliver yesterday and Peacock tonight. Those guys really stepped up and and saved what could have otherwise been a stretch of heavy bullpen usage.

Giles has the potential to be the best closer in baseball. His stuff is filthy and if he develops more consistency, he's unstoppable. Also Peacock needs to be in the rotation. He looks great, and could be valuable for us. He needs to replace either shite Fiers or shite Musgrove. Either one. I don't care which one, but he needs to be a regular starter immediately over both.

Yall will be cussing peacock the next time out when he goes 4 innings and walks 5 and gives up 6.

I'm not sold on him being a savior but I know we are bad shape with the rotation due to lunhows lack of action and planning. So I hope he keeps it up.

Gotta give him another go. He was a man with a plan tonight. The question is, what happens if Musgrove and Fiers both pitch well this week?

Coming from a fifth starter a blow up every now and again is kind of expected but this start didnt come completely out of nowhere. Going back to last year he had 3 solid starts giving up 1,2,1. He did blow up in his last one giving up 5 in 4 2/3.

Nothing. They're starters. For now. They're on notice now because of Peacock. If they pitch well, they live to make their next starts. Peacock threw his name into the mix if they continue to struggle though.

Accurate. I'm hoping that happens, but I suspect the magic fix for Musgrove isn't coming so fast.
