I like Bregman, maybe at the 5 spot if they take Fulmer or something, but I would rather have Swanson at 2

I like Swanson better than bregman. If Rodgers is there at 2 I think you have to take him

I love Bregman's work ethic but I don't see us taking him. Correa will not bust and Altuve is only 4 years older than him. I know you draft the best player but if our middle infield will be occupied by Correa/Altuve for the next decade, you don't draft someone that high for trade bait.

I think bregman ceiling is a pedroia type which is good but I want to three hole power hitters that high in the draft....I think bregman ultimately ends up and 2b too.

Agreed and damn Luhnow has been great for the franchise but Appel over Bryant was a huge miss, I don't care what anyone says. Appel was the consensus pick but still. He's about to be 24 and shown no signs of being even a consistent #3.

I am fine with taking Bregman or Swanson and either sliding Correa to 3B or sliding one of them to 3B. I just don't like drafting based on need in the MLB Draft because it's impossible to predict what will happen. I feel like you have to take the best players available. It does seem like the Dbacks might take Fulmer from what I have read

Gattis hit .164 in April, he has hit .231 in May.
He had 12 hits in April, he has 15 in May.
He had 2 HR in April, he has 6 in May.
He had 24 SO in April, he has 11 SO in May.
He had 3 BB in April, he has 2 BB in May.
Only 7 PA separate the sample 76 in April vs 69 in May.
Glad he is coming back into the form that the Astros traded for with the Braves.

Swanson was #1 in the mock, and it was noted that we aren't as high on Rodgers as a lot of teams. I think it's just that we needs bats so we are going to take a bat, even if it's a SS

Remains to be seen who is high on whom. Their are a lot of games being played by teams at this point
